Scientists at Bar Ilan University in Israel have studied more than 137,000 children aged 11, 13 or 15 living in 25 European countries and found that children eating too much sugar have violent behavior and became a bully 3.5 times higher than other children.
To reach this conclusion, researchers looked at data on health behaviors among school-aged children in 2013-2014 in 25 countries, including Austria, Belgium, Canada, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, UK …
Children are grouped based on whether they consume high sugar, how often they eat chocolate or sweets or energy drinks. Accordingly, energy drinks increase the child’s violent behavior over chocolate and sweets because they contain caffeine.
Of the countries studied, Swedish children were the most affected from the sugar, with the possibility of violence or drinking more than two times.
According to the National Health Service, the amount of sugar a person should eat in a day depends on their age. Children between the ages of 4 and 6 should be restricted to a maximum of 19 grams per day, children 7 to 10 years of age should not exceed 24 grams and children 11 years of age or older should not exceed 30 grams.
In addition to increasing the violence, children who eat a lot of sugar, sweets can also have many dangerous diseases:
