A 60-year-old carpenter named Yang Zhiyou skilfully made a crown out of folded bamboo in southern China. Bamboo has always been considered a very special feature of the Chinese in particular and Asia in general. The use of bamboo in architecture not only helps to “green” space but also bring the “soul” for your product.
Today, although with modern technology, there are countless new materials, but the material from bamboo is still somewhere to attach importance and honor with its own beauty. Products made from bamboo have many unique patterns such as natural colors and retains brightness for many years, with high temperature and limited firefighting ability, as a substitute for natural wood.
The impressive video, filmed in Guilin City in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on August 12, shows Yang transforming a section of bamboo into a crown.
He began learning his craft when as a child and has since become known for being a master of bamboo crafting now.\
