Roasted Mouse with Lemongrass and Chili

Mouse is a favorite dish of many people because of its special taste. With a simple recipe, you can make Roasted Mouse with Lemongrass and Chili at home for a party with friends on the weekend!


– Mouse: 4

– Minced ginger: 1 tsp

– Salt: 1.5 tsp

– Minced chili: 1 tbsp

– Minced onion: 1 tbsp

– Minced garlic: 1 tbsp

– Minced lemongrass: 20g

– Five – spice powder: 1 tsp

– MSG: 1/2 tsp

– Honey: 1 tbsp

– Cooking oil: 1 tbsp


– Step 1: Wash mouse carefully. Then, add mouse, minced ginger, 1 tsp salt to a boiling water pot, parboil the mouse and pick out, drain.

– Step 2: Mix the mouse with 1 tbsp chopped chili, 1 tbsp minced onion, 1 tbsp chopped garlic, 20g chopped lemongrass, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tsp five-spice powder, 1/2 tsp MSG, 1 tbsp honey, 1 tbsp cooking oil and then marinate in 30 minutes.

– Step 3: Roast the mouse at 200 degrees Celsius for 40 minutes. Then enjoy it
