Ribs broth with manioc for a cold day

With easy-to-find ingredients, you can cook hot ribs broth with manioc for your family in a cold day. Follow the recipe and make a fantastic dish!


– Pork spare ribs: 500g

– Manioc: 400g

– Shallot: 60g

– Soup powder: 1 tbsp

– Monosodium glutamate: 0.5 tbsp

– Tomatoes: 2

– Seasoning powder: 0.5 tbsp

– Pepper: 0.3 tbsp

– Fish sauce: 50ml

– Spring onion: 10g

– Water: 1.5L


Step 1: Boil pork spare ribs in a pot for a while then remove and rinse.

Step 2: Fry the shallots. Add in ribs and stir- fry.

Step 3: Pour water in the pot, add in 0.5 tbsp soup powder and simmer for 20 mins.

Step 4: Again fry the shallots with tomato and stir well. Add in manioc, 0.5 tbsp soup powder, seasoning powder, monosodium glutamate, pepper, fish sauce. Keep stirring well.

Step 5: Remove the mixture above to a pot, add in spring onion and tomato. Bring it to a boil.

Step 6: Let it cool down and enjoy.
