Sachima is a kind of Northern Chinese food and it is also one of the most widely distributed sweets in that region. With only few steps, you can enjoy one of the most delicious dish of Chinese cuisine. Let’s cook now!
Wheat flour: 150g
Baking powder: 1 tbsp
Roasted sesame: 10g
Step 1: Mix well wheat flour with baking powder and eggs until smooth. Rest for 30 mins.
Step 2: Flatten the flour, then cut into thin strips. Fry them until golden brown.
Step 3: Add the mixture of sugar, water and maltose in a pan. Then, bring them to a boil. After that, add in sticky slices to fry. Stir well. Add in roasted sesame to fry together. Toss the dough in the pan until it is evenly coated with sesame.
Step 4: Scoop the fried dough into a mold. Press tightly with your hand.
Step 5: After cooling, the mold is turned upside down and released. Remove the mold. Use a knife to cut into squares and enjoy.
