This perfect recipe of sweet and sour pork ribs can help you get high scores in mother-in-law's eyes

Sweet and sour spare ribs are a popular and representative sweet and sour food. This dish has a reddish color and tastes both sweet and sour. It is, without a doubt, attractive and delicious as an appetizer..

It’s easy to make and you can serve this delicious stir-fry over rice for a simple meal or pair with a hearty soup for a truly belly-warming meal.

Prepare materials:

- 500g pork rib tips or spare ribs

- 2 dried onions

- 1 chilli

- 2 tablespoons fish sauce

- 4 tablespoons of rice vinegar

- 2 tablespoons soy sauce

- 3 tablespoons sugar

- 1 tablespoon salt

- 1 tablespoon seasoning seeds

- 1 tablespoon pepper

- Cooking oil.

How to do:

Step 1: Prepare the pork ribs

- The best type of ribs for this recipe is the pork rib tips–meaty sections attached to the lower end of the spare ribs. These ribs are more cartilage than bone and the meat is nice and tender. If you can only get the spare ribs, these are fine too.

- Purchase ribs that are cross cut or ask your butcher to cut for you. If all you can find is a rack of ribs, just chop them into smaller sections using a meat cleaver.

- After washing with water, put them in a pot of boiling water to remove the odor and dirt.

- Then pour the water out of pot to wash the ribs one more time, then let them dry and mix with fish sauce, pepper, monosodium glutamate, minced onion in about 30 minutes.

Step 2: Make sweet and sour sauce

You mix fish sauce, sugar, vinegar rice, tomato paste, chili paste, pepper into a bowl, then stir into a homogeneous mixture. If you eat spicy, can add more chili.

Step 3: Cook the mixture of ribs

- Put the pan on the stove, add the oil and wait for the hot oil, then fry the ribs first. Remember that you should not fry too long to prevent the ribs from being dry and losing the nutrients in them. When the ribs turns nearly to yellow, take them out the plate.

- Remove the oil in the frying pan, leave only oil to fry dried onion, then pour the sauce into the pan and cook with fried ribs with a small fire. Keep the source on two sides of the ribs.

- Keep cooking in 2 minutes till the ribs turns to brown-yellow, then turn off the kitchen. Take them out of plate. We can eat them with hot rice.

Step 4: Enjoy the dish
