How to make steamed rice pancake by pan?

You might think that making steamed rice pancake at home is impossible because of lacking kitchen utensils. Don’t worry. You can use a pan instead. Let’s go to the kitchen and cook now!


Rice powder: 150g

Tapioca starch: 65g

Salt: 0.25 tbsp

Water: 560ml

Cooking oil: 0.25 tbsp

Sugar: 30g

Fish sauce: 30ml

Chili: 10g

Roasted cinnamon pork: 100g

Minced pork: 150g

Seasoning powder: 1 tbsp

Pepper: 0.3 tbsp

Minced shallot: 20g

Wood ear: 100g


Step 1: Mix well rice powder, tapioca starch, salt and cooking oil in 500ml water. Rest for 30 mins.

Step 2: Prepare sauce: Mix well sugar, fish sauce, 60ml water, chili and roasted cinnamon pork.

Step 3: Season minced pork with seasoning powder and pepper. Marinate for 10 mins.

Step 4: Quickly stir-fry minced shallot with cooking oil until fragrant, then add in minced pork and wood ear. Stir-fry well.

Step 5: Spread cooking oil in a pan, pour little powder in. Cover with a lid for 1-2 mins.

Step 6: Place pancake to a chopping board. Add minced pork on top then roll in. Continue for the rests.

Step 7: Serve with roasted cinnamon pork and sauce.
