The forest under Kaindy Lake has good green foliage, but the floating part on the water is just like the pile that are plugged in.
There is a unique lake in Kazakhstan. Kaindy Lake, located in the Tian Shan Mountains, 130 km from Almaty, was formed from a landslide after the devastating earthquake of 1911.
It is famous for a series of spruce growing under the lake, creating a unique submerged forest.
Floating wooden trees are like the masts of ghost ships, others think of the spear of the army hidden under the lake, waiting for the opportunity to appear.
Under the water, spruce branches of the spruce grow normally and lush. But the floating part of the water is threadbare, with a barren look like piles that people plug into the lake.
Lake Kaindy is very cold, even in the mid-summer the temperature does not exceed 6 degrees Celsius. In winter, the surface of the lake freezes and Kaindy becomes the ideal destination for fishing and ice skating.
