A 13ft Burmese python slithers over a baby in footage which is the stuff of nightmares for most parents. However, this is not the case for snake handler Jamie Guarino, this’s simply a beloved family pet showing affection to his little angel..
Jamie, 34, filmed his 14-month-old daughter, Alyssa, with the family’s 10-year-old pet python Nay-Nay
‘In this video, I was showing the simple fact that snakes are not evil creatures,’ explains Jamie passionately.
‘They can be a loving pet, despite their bad reputation. My daughter is absolutely in no danger.’
While only a small number of people disagree with this parents, many people commented “Snakes are unpredictable. Oh, wait...all animals are. Bear in mind that this snake owner is supervising his children while the snake is around. Sounds responsible to me, and those who are speaking from lack of information, I'm quite disappointed.”
“Ok I don't think you know this, but if a snake circles you, that means its protecting and guarding you, So this snake is NOT going to harm the baby. GOOD SNAKE!!! :)”
“I'm not scared that the snake will bite the baby, I'm scared that the baby will scratch or put pressure on the snake, making it bite the baby in self-defense, and then getting blamed.”
