If you think that only women gain weight and need to lose weight after having a baby, the story of this “hot dad” may change your mind. Sion Monty, 30, from Porthmadog, Wales, is a father-of-one who recently becomes an internet sensation for his spectacular weight loss, changing 180 degrees.
It sounds ridiculous, but Sion had gained 25kg just six months after his son Tedi was born. This is due to the stress of caring for his first child and the economic burdens that caused him to gain weight.
Stress made Sion really let loose in eating until he realized the needle on the scale had hit the 101kg mark.
“I do not want to be a fat dad, and I see myself in the mirror and realize that if I want to live healthy and long enough to see my son grows up, I need to start changing from now on! “
Deciding to do it, Sion immediately embarked on a meal plan and performed a rigorous six day a week regimen.
HIS DIET NOW
He started going to the gym every day. However, since Tedi, Sion’s son, suffered from gastric reflux from birth, Sion and his girlfriend Kara spent a lot of time supervising the boy.
Every day, in addition to practicing in the gym, he spent a lot of time pushing the car with Tedi jogging. ‘I knew I had to involve Tedi in getting fit if I was going to fit it in while spending time with him. You should have seen how much he laughed at his dad jogging up the hills. ‘He loves birds, so I would choose walks and runs where he there were lots of birds for us to spot together.’
After eight months of persistent eating and training, Sion finally lost up to 34kg and achieved the dream body that many men crave for.
“I love my son, my girlfriend, and my current body,” Sion said.
‘I was so body conscious and maybe a bit embarrassed because I was known as a fit guy.
