Breathtaking moment shows German kayaker run 32-meter waterfall
November 16 2018, 4:22 PM
This is the breathtaking moment a kayaker paddled off a 105-foot (32-meter) waterfall in Canada.

The spectacular action camera video shows German kayaker, Adrian Mattern, 23 years old, run the Alexandra Falls located on the Hay River in the Northwest Territories on August 11.

It can be clearly seen from the video that Mattern paddles into the middle of the river to find the perfect channel to make his approach to the falls.  He then simply surrenders to gravity, capturing the breathtaking view from the top as he begins to drop. The video goes black as Mattern plunges into the water below but he quickly emerges unharmed and elated by his remarkable achievement.

Flycam chronicled Adrian’s dangerous journey. In a few moments, Adrian seems to have disappeared after falling into the water but quickly emerged afterwards and then he is so excited to experience this adventurous challenge.

Adrian has won countless awards from many kayak competitions but this is the first time he has crossed the falls at a height of 32 m. Adrian has traveled extensively around the world to play and share that his favorite place for kayaking is in White Salmon (USA) and Norway.
