BACK TO CHILDHOOD WITH PIG’S EAR COOKIES

Take notes the tips to make crispy pig’s ear cookies. These colorful ones might attract your children.

Ingredients:

–           Wheat flour: 170g

–           Sugar: 45g

–           Fresh milk: 40ml

–           Egg yolk: 1

–           Butter: 20g

–           Cacoa powder: 1 tbsp

–           Salt: 0.5 tbsp

Instruction:

Step 1: Prepare a deep bowl. Combine the mixture of sugar, salt, fresh milk and egg yolk. Stir well then add in 20g butter to knead until smooth.

Step 2: Divide the dough into two parts. Add cocoa powder to one dough and knead until well-combined.

Step 3: Sprinkle flour on a parchment paper. Flatten the yellow dough thinly first then place the brown dough above the yellow one. Roll the dough by parchment paper and refrigerate for 1 hour.

Step 4: Cut the dough into very thin slices.

Step 5: Heat oil in a saucepan at medium temperature. Add the dough slices into the saucepan until brown. Remove them from the saucepan, place to a plate and wait until they cool down. Now you can enjoy the cookies!
