Advice of old women for all 25-year-old girls about the regrets in their life
July 27 2018, 10:59 AM
Late last year, we asked women about their lifestyle - nearly half said they were feeling moderately or extremely stressed & shockingly 40% feel like they're about to burn out. We weren't surprised, we feel it too.

From our everyday never-ending ‘to do’ lists to the pressure the media puts on us to be the ‘perfect woman’. We rush around trying to do more, be more, give more.

But we don’t need to be like this 24/7, it’s not healthy. We need to #LetGo of all this pressure every now and again.

If we ask you a question, can you dare to answer honestly? “What will your most regret when you are old?”.

Every one has many regrets in life, about something they did not do, some words they could not tell and some dreams they did not dare to conduct.

What I wouldn’t give for 5 more minutes on the dancefloor while my legs were still strong enough to carry me.

This isn’t about stopping a fight for equality.

I’d give myself the time to indulge in the things that I now understand are the most important.

What I wouldn’t give to extend children goodnight kisses instead of moaning about having to get up early in the morning.

If I had my time again I wouldn’t create a “to do” list, I’d created “to don’t do” list.

Actually, this is an advertising project of Sanctuary which are on a mission to get women to Relax, Breathe and #LetGo. So they’ve created a film with advice from women who truly know the importance of stepping back every now and then and appreciating life’s precious moments.

They gave a message to all young girls that there’s the most important word, BEING: Being lost in the moment; Being at peace with the world; Being kinder to myself; Being kinder to others; Being able to let go and being proud to do so

Women in the whole world, please spend more time for BEING, not DOING.
